The Henty region of far south-west Victoria is renowned for growing exceptional Riesling. This cool vineyard site ensures elegant citrus-like flavour neatly paired with juicy natural acid. Grown in a sustainably farmed vineyard and handcrafted in the winery, this wine displays its significant wine country provenance.
An immediate and compelling lifted aroma of lime, lemon and white flowers is followed with more citrus and a crunchy green-apple bite on the palate. Look further and the characteristic richness and texture derived from extended lees contact shines through, all culminating with a mineral edged acid finish.
A fresh and energetic wine, delicious now and will grow in complexity and richness with up to 8 years cellaring.

"There’s a fair bit of cut to this riesling, and a fair amount of pulp and flesh to go with it, and while it’s so lively it almost feels spiky, it also feels juicy, and fruity, and enjoyable, even in this its youth. It tastes of lime and grapefruit pulp, citrus juice in general, perhaps some mandarin, and of crushed fennel too. It tastes a bit out of the norm, thanks to the characteristics of its fruit, rather than to any work that it’s had done. It’s good for buying, good for drinking, good for cellaring."
