94/100 points from James Halliday in the 2011 Wine Companion was a great third party endorsement for this wine. We reckon it has great merit as well and in our humble opinion, the best fruit grown in Geelong from 2007 was Shiraz.

2003 PROVENANCE Geelong SHIRAZ
Grown on a single vineyard site west of Bannockburn, this Shiraz exhibits hallmark Geelong regional traits. Medium bodied, supple and juicy, the red-fruited flavours are neatly balanced by fine-grained tannin and fresh acid structure. This is a wonderfully easy to drink, sophiscated cool climate wine.
