2011 PROVENANCE Golden Plains PINOT NOIR
From very early on we have rated 2011 as one of the best Pinot Noir vintages we have had the opportunity to work with. Our new release Pinot Noir is looking terrific and with three wineshow outings for three gold medals we can't wait to see it in the glasses of those who have enjoyed our earlier vintages. This wine was blended from four vineyards across the Geelong, Ballarat and Henty wine regions, hence the Golden Plains title. Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Available March 2012

2010 PROVENANCE Ballarat PINOT NOIR
Our 2010 Ballarat Pinot Noir is an elegant, pretty, refined kind of wine. In fact it is utterly seductive and has poweful fine-grained tannin to boot.

2010 PROVENANCE Henty PINOT NOIR
Completing our trio of 2010 regional Pinot Noir wines this Henty is a deep brooding style that exemplifys the match of the Henty wine region & Pinot Noir. The influence of the southern ocean and ancient basaltic soils imbues this wine with lush personality and powerful flavour.

2010 PROVENANCE Geelong PINOT NOIR
Our 2009 Geelong Pinot Noir has been carefully blended to create a spicy elegant wine of refined line and length. Through careful classification of all our Pinot batches, across various vineyard sites, we have maintained fragrant cherry like fruit with lovely foresty overtones. A portion of whole-bunch fermentation has added intriguing complexity.

2007 PROVENANCE Turas PINOT NOIR
We were quite chuffed when our first release, barrel-select Turas Pinot Noir was rated 95/100 in the 2011 Wine Companion by James Halliday. This small batch blend of Geelong and Ballarat fruit (Geelong for power, Ballarat for silk) was always intended to highlight all that is plush, flavoursome, supple and textural about Pinot Noir.
