The whole team at Provenance were ecstatic and proud to receive a five star rating (outstanding winery) in the latest James Halliday Wine Companion. Our Pinot Noir received 95 points, Chardonnay 94 points and the Pinot Gris and Shiraz both receiving 93 points. Friday night drinks were unusally boisterous! Well done all!

Provenance Wines Vintage 2011

As our 2011 wines reach dryness and complete malolactic fermentation we start to see the true nature of vintage 2011. Initial insights point towards fine, lower alcohol, euro-accented styles. The truth of these wines is still to be understood but at this stage the key qualities of freshness and vitality are quite exciting.
